Bishop’s University

Bishop’s sits above the junction of two stunning rivers in a forested suburb of Sherbrooke, Québec. With a population of fewer than 3,000 students, the university is ideal for those looking for a smaller, cozier, residential experience where their input in a community matters. A strong school spirit and enthusiasm for athletics builds community and atmosphere at this English-language university. Explore the surrounding region, with countless outdoor activities, and a town that values arts and culture. Bishop’s is primarily an undergraduate university with strengths in the humanities and social sciences, as well as natural sciences and business; it is not a large research giant with sprawling laboratories and facilities. Bishop’s is also big on tradition: established in 1843, the school is older than the country of Canada itself

ETS is a specialized Engineering school within the Université du Québec network. In any given year, it’s estimated that a quarter of all prospective engineers receiving a diploma in Quebec receive those credentials through the ETS. This makes it the most prolific engineering school in the province and fourth in Canada as a whole. Likewise, the school has earned a reputation amongst international employers. One key element to an education at ETS is a cooperative experience for all students, who receive practical hands-on experience in fields as diverse as IT, aerospace manufacturing and avionics, innovation management and many more. Consequently, it has become a destination school for many foreign students. And whether they stay in Canada or return to their home countries, these students do so with excellent credentials, skills, and experience. While the ETS has many programs at virtually all levels, it should be mentioned that the majority of programs here are conducted at the graduate or professional level.
